I’m a hardworking tenacious person who loves to see results with anything I do. I am quite social and find it easy to communicate with others.
When tutoring I love being able to help others grasp it and see that lightbulb go off when they get it. I have a great nack for being able to think up other ways for students to understand the work when they don’t understand the first explanation. I have a patient nature when it comes to teaching others the work and have the tenacity to stick at it until they understand the work.
• BSc Animal Sciences at the University of Pretoria (second year)
• My proudest achievements would have to be receiving honours for academics and hockey, winning Noordvaal and receiving provincial colours in Hockey as well as achieving my respectable music grades.
Mathematics
I really have a passion for maths and enjoy helping others to grasp the concepts and be able to understand and apply what they need to do.
Life Sciences (Biology)
Biology comes naturally to me and I have a great understanding that I utilise when being teaching others so that they can understand it instead of just studying for the sake of studying.
Accounting
This was my top subject in Matric as numbers come naturally to me and I believe that I will be able to not only teach how to do the accounting but will help others to feel more comfortable with tackling accounting questions and tests.
Hockey
I love hockey and have played not only First team for a very strong hockey school but was part of the winning team for Tournaments such a Noordvaal. I also have played for provincial teams for hockey.
Flute
I have been playing flute since the age of 7 and I love music. I have achieved up to my grade 3 for the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music and also have been apart of a junior orchestra in the UK.
Genetics
This was my favourite subject in first year and I managed to really grasp the concepts which I was been able to help other students also grasp. I have extensive notes and understanding that I could pass onto other students.
