Hello! My name is Akira, and I am a first-year at UPenn. I love helping my students learn subjects they may not be well-versed in. My interests include playing/watching sports and watching anime/tv.
I break up difficult concepts into easy, manageable parts. I will make sure that my student fully understands the concept before I move on. I put myself in their shoes and do what I would want my tutor to do.
Education
• First-year student in the Huntsman Program at the University of Pennsylvania
• I did SAT tutoring at Kara Tutoring for a year.
• I also did private tutoring in my home-town.

Achievements
• One of my students in the non-profit tutoring organization I worked for got into his dream university. I was proud of him and myself for being able to help him achieve his goal.
