I have taught university students English and gained valuable experience at the NWU Faculty of Education, where I contributed to academic development and supported student learning.

I have experience lecturing Introduction to Law to Honours students at NWU, which included teaching Constitutional Rights and Fundamental Rights, providing students with a solid understanding of key legal principles.

I have over 23 years of experience as an Afrikaans language educator and have also lectured languages at the university level, combining extensive classroom expertise with higher education teaching.

I taught Communication for four years at a University of Technology and also taught English as a main subject at university, developing strong skills in guiding students and enhancing their language proficiency.

I hold a PhD and have spent hundreds of hours in the research field, gaining extensive experience in experimental design, data analysis, literature review, and problem-solving. I understand what rigorous research entails and excel in applying these skills effectively.

I have taught nearly 1,000 Year 12 students, with around 200 achieving distinctions in English. I have served as an English HL and FAL National Examiner and moderator, and I annually assess Year 12 papers for the DOE.

I have trained Life Orientation educators and helped develop worksheets for the subject. Awarded Best LO Educator in 2015, I also served as an External Moderator and possess extensive knowledge of Life Orientation.

I have been a successful language educator in both Afrikaans and English for over 23 years. I possess extensive experience and remain actively involved in teaching and developing these subjects.

I have 22 years of experience assessing national exam papers and have served as a national examiner. For over 8 years, I have been a senior marker, also taking roles as Chief Marker and Moderator, gaining excellent experience in preparing learners for exams.

With 22 years of teaching experience, I am highly qualified and confident in my ability to assist learners with their homework, providing guidance, support, and clear explanations to ensure understanding and success.

I have had the opportunity to teach English across all levels, including primary and secondary school learners, tertiary students, and adults, adapting my approach to suit each group’s unique learning needs.
