Bio
I am a qualified teacher with over 4 years experience. I am passionate about Biology and Natural Sciences as well as food, photography and travelling.
I completed 2,5 years teaching troubled youths in a state school in Essex, UK which exposed me to many opportunities to develop my behaviour management and teaching & mentoring skills. The students I taught were very vulnerable and came from difficult backgrounds. During this time, I was able to coach and mentor students to instil in them the confidence and ambition they were lacking.

• 2014 - 2015: UNISA. Post Graduate Certificate in Education
• I have a total of four years of high school teaching experience

Achievements
• I supported the TedEd Talks initiatives.
• I participated in a Positive Psychology Program aimed at improving the mindsets of students in their approach to studying.
• I piloted the SAIL program in my Science Department to coach students in becoming more independent learners.
