Bio
I am a passionate scientist with very strong communication and teaching skills. I studied Science and Human Biology for eight years, but I am also proficient in both languages and Mathematics.
I have been tutoring, teaching and lecturing at both a school and university level for over ten years. I have worked with a wide variety of subjects and pupils, and I am able to adapt to each student's specific needs.
Education
• I completed my BSc in Human Life Sciences with Psychology at Stellenbosch University, whereafter I pursued my Honours and Masters degrees in Human Physiology, as well as a degree in Nutrition.

Achievements
• I was the youngest person in my department to lecture and co-ordinate a university subject module.
• I received the departmental prize for the best thesis at UCT (93%).
• I was invited to be part of the Golden Key International Honour Society for academic excellence in my second year at university.

I have been tutoring Mathematics since I matriculated in 2012. I have extensive experience in different communication and learning styles to individualise my teaching approach.
English
I have been tutoring English since I matriculated in 2012. I have extensive experience in different communication and learning styles to individualise my teaching approach. I particularly enjoyed teaching English literature, grammar and rules of language, as well as creative writing.
Afrikaans
I have been tutoring Afrikaans since I matriculated in 2012. I focused predominantly on teaching Afrikaans to English-speaking pupils, up to Grade 12 level.
Life Sciences (Biology)
I studied Human Biology for eight years and I am incredibly passionate about this subject. I am able to improve pupils' conceptual understanding of the subject and help them navigate through their specific curriculum.
Natural Science
I am a passionate scientist who loves communicating the essential foundations that are laid in Grades 8 and 9. I am properly equipped to teach and tutor Natural Sciences to these learners.
Art
As Visual Art was the highest mark I achieved in Matric, I am proficient in both art theoretical and practical components, and know that I can bring value to learners seeking assistance in this subject.

Of all my university subjects, Physiology was the subject I was most passionate about. I absolutely love explaining how biological systems work and have even been invited to lecture at Stellenbosch because of this passion for teaching Physiology.

During my third year, I received distinctions for all four of my Psychology modules. I know I can assist anyone seeking to improve their understanding of Psychology and improve their marks.
