I am passionate about language as a creative, academic and social tool. In my experience, good linguistic skills open a wide array of opportunities. I have exceptional essay writing skills as well as a firm knowledge of English grammar and language.

I have attained a Distinction for Mathematics in the NSC. I am well equipped with study material and study methods for the learner to pass with a good grade. I also have 6 years of experience in tutoring high school Mathematics.

I have a keen interest in the study and teaching of Geography. I have 6 years experience tutoring high school Geography. I am interested and knowledgeable in both theory and map work, having achieved a distinction in matric.

Being bilingual, I am able to assist learners with the Afrikaans language both conversationally and academically. This also allows me to understand and recognise linguistic errors common to other bilingual learners.

I have ample experience in tutoring high school Physical Sciences. I recognise the need of some learners for individual attention. In my experience, individual attention allows one to meet learners at their level which greatly improves their grades.

I have passed Mathematics with Distinction in the NSC. In my experience, however, proper language skills are essential for Mathematics Literacy. Being linguistically and Mathematically inclined, I am able to offer unique tutorship for this subject.

I have obtained a distinction for Life Sciences in the NSC. I have also taken a course in Biology at UCT.

I have experience in intermediate English grammar and language tutoring and am have passed a course in English grammar at the University of Pretoria with Distinction.

I have done a course in teaching English as a foreign language and am studying both English literature and grammar at the University of Pretoria. Being bilingual, I am able to recognise common difficulties in acquiring an additional language.

I hold an MSc in Psychology (with Merit) from a British University and have strong research skills, with experience teaching and supporting diverse learners. I explain complex concepts clearly, assist with assignments and exam prep, and create a calm, structured learning space.

I am a registered Specialist Wellness Counsellor (ASCHP) with strong academic training and experience supporting diverse learners. I offer skilled academic counselling, study guidance, and structured support to help students succeed with confidence.
