I have tutored Mathematics for over 5 years. One thing most of my struggling learners had in common was not having an intuitive understanding of mathematics, they only understood/crammed formulas when a problem appeared a certain way. I have therefore focused on making mathematics intuitive.

My teaching style is to make mathematics easy and very intuitive, I do not often use textbook examples that learners often struggle to understand, instead I use real life examples that learners tend to understand and relate with.

Mathematics literacy is one of those maths subjects that is intuitive, it more about understanding the wording of the question than rushing to apply those formulas. I'd say 99% of my learners failed to pass a question simply because they did not understand the question. Let me help you understand it

I have tutored calculus online on multiple platforms such as Photomath, Study Chegg and Living Stone Research. I know the module is challenging but what makes me a suitable tutor is that I am patient and focus on what is more likely examinable.

I have helped many students at the university of Free State with the module because I provide a simpler explanation which is easier to understand by any student. Not only do I focus on the acturial science as a module but I also motivate so that they could develop love for this module.

Linear Algebra is one of the most amazing and yet challenging module. It requires a tutor with understanding and the ability to transfer the knowledge to the next student. I have been tutoring linear algebra to my fellow university students and that improved their performance in their examination.

I love analyzing data and making conclusions based on my analyzing skills that I have obtained in a statistics class. I have shared my knowledge of statistics with those to me and I have volunteered my time to assist students and that has made a better tutor of statistics for university students.

Visual Basic for Application(VBA) is the most amazing elementary programming skills that would make your repetitive tasks on excel simplified. I love tutoring VBA so much because its syntax is easy to understand and you can do many programs that are difficult to code in other programming languages.
