Mathematics
I ensured I had a thorough understanding of Mathematics in high school and am thus confident I can pass on this understanding to any school children struggling to grasp any Mathematical concepts. I have had 4 years of experience tutoring Mathematics to both school and university students.
English
I have helped school children at my brother's school in preparation for their English tests. I have a passion for languages and enjoy this subject. I have many useful answering technique structures to help in exam and test situations. Furthermore, I am doing a 180 hour, level 5, TEFL course.
Afrikaans
I enjoy learning languages and thus am proficient in this language. Living in Stellenbosch has also developed my Afrikaans speaking ability.
Life Sciences (Biology)
I have a Bachelor in Human Life Sciences as well as an Honour's degree in Neuroscience. I am thus very knowledgable in this subject area. I am passionate about the subject and have helped many school learners with valuable study skills in this subject.
History
As an avid reader and postgraduate Science student, I have excellent essay writing techniques which are valuable for success in this subject. I am passionate about history and thus an ideal tutor to convey the required knowledge in a creative and interesting manner.

Mathematics
I tutored Mathematics (Biology) for the university last semester and enjoyed the experience. I have thus been exposed to what tutoring Mathematics entails.
Biochemistry
My thorough enjoyment and interest in this subject resulted in me spending many hours understanding and working through the processes involved in this subject. I have a clear understanding of the course content and detailed notes.
Genetics
I have had experience in explaining the concepts in genetics as I typed out and sold my notes during the course of this year. I addition, I am interested in pursuing this field of science further and thus have a good understanding of the subject.

Kayleigh has been brilliant in her approach - Kayleigh found the way I best learnt and adapted the sessions to fit. Kayleigh worked with me, teaching me the concepts I needed to know and explaining them to me in a way that I could understand and retain. Online tutoring is different from face to face tutoring, it is much harder to establish if they have understood or if they are struggling. As the sessions progressed, Kayleigh understood when I had not completely grasped something and would go over it in different ways until I understood. I felt comfortable asking Kayleigh questions (some related to some basic concepts that I should have remembered/known) but no matter how trivial they seemed, she reassured me it was good to ask and would explain what I needed and relate it to the topic that was being covered. I needed some adjustments relating to timings for some sessions and Kayleigh was always flexible which took away additional stress.
