Bio
I am an Honours student at UCT set on becoming an academic. I am also a communicator; I have been presenting to academics touring South Africa from the US, UK and Japan since 2018.
My Grade 8 desk mate was a repeater, and we worked together to correct that he is now finishing his MBChB. He is a brilliant one; he worked hard. My desk mate and many others I have worked with prove that we are capable of reaching our goals; we need to put in the work. My abilities lie in convincing you to up your efforts. I have been presenting to audiences since I was 12.

• I was part of the 2020 Absa GradStar Top 100. I was chosen as part of the best 100 students in South Africa in 2020 from more than 8000 entries.

Beginner - AdvancedI grew up in rural areas and was monolingual, only speaking IsiZulu until I was 10 when I moved to the township. I am still proud of my grasp of the language and believe that languages are tied to our identities, windows to other worlds we can reach without language.
