I worked as a tutor in Sociology at the University of Cape Town for 10 years, teaching a wide variety of undergraduate courses, from introductions in first year to 3rd year level courses in research methods. I have a Masters in Sociology and also received a First Class Honours.

I have a strong foundation in the humanities, a deep understanding of historical study methods, and extensive knowledge of significant historical events. I also specialize in helping students strengthen their essay writing and develop clear, compelling argumentative skills.

Having a Master's Degree in Sociology and 10 years of teaching experience at the University of Cape Town has given me a comprehensive grasp of the English language. I will be able to help students improve their writing, reading and argumentative skills.

In addition to my academic results, I hold a Master’s degree in Social Science, have hands-on experience with quantitative research, and have tutored basic statistics. This background equips me well to assist learners with the types of questions commonly asked in this subject.

I taught Social Sciences for a decade at the University of Cape Town, and I am well-equipped to guide any high school learner through the fundamentals—regardless of their syllabus or curriculum.
