Bio
I am a teacher and student, committed to equipping learners with the knowledge and skills to realise their potential. I believe in the power of collaboration to build a brighter future for all.
With 10+ years of volunteering, I’ve learned to build strong rapport and identify existing skills to foster growth and long-term memory and skills. As an educator, I bring curriculum knowledge and understanding of assessment, ensuring support is meaningful and not long-term dependency. My goal is to help learners become independent, and confident in their studies.

Grade 1 - Grade 11 IEBFor my IEB certificate, I scored a distinction in core Mathematics and a 60% in Advanced Mathematics. The experience I have tutoring mainly comes from volunteering to tutor Maths for grades 6 - 9 under the OLICO youth center from 2016 to 2019.
English
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEBI excelled in English at school and it is a subject that I have been tutoring since I completed matric. English is a subject commonly undervalued by students as they do not realize how it forms the foundation for comprehension. I have experience tutoring up to Varsity level.
History
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEBHistory as a school subject aims to teach about the past but to also use this information to understand current affairs better and to synthesise logical arguments. My aim in tutoring is to hone and develop these skills in students and develop a passion for critical thinking.
