Bio
I am a young and enthusiastic tutor, with four years experience, of tutoring high school students. I use fun and engaging teaching methods, that make understanding and remembering concepts easy.
I am empathetic, which makes me great at putting myself in someone else's shoes and understanding their situation. I am also extremely patient. So, I never rush somebody into a revelation or get frustrated when they don't get there quickly enough. I steadily walk them through the process, as long as it takes, until they see the light. Or in the case of teaching, until it all makes sense.
Education
• I was a member of my former high school's tutoring program for four years. I then continued to tutor part-time, as a student. I am currently studying towards a Diploma in Audio Technology.

Achievements
• My proudest achievement is helping students grasp a concept they've been struggling with for a long time. And seeing them excel academically.
• A personal one, would be my own academic successes. Completing my matric with five distinctions, and keeping the streak going in college, every year as well.

English
I have four years of experience tutoring English Home Language and FAL. I have taught learners from Grade 8 to 12 to analyze literature, write essays and write comprehension assessments, successfully and hassle-free.
Accounting
I've had success in helping learners grasp basic accounting principles (i.e. prudence principle, crediting & debiting correct accounts) and apply them correctly in their work. All of my students have had success in balancing their books and understanding the accounting equation.
Business Studies
I use fun teaching methods that make understanding the different acts that apply in the workplace fun and enjoyable. I've helped students write detailed and sensible essays about all business topics incl. SWOT analysis & more!
Zulu
I teach excellent writing skills that can be used in essay writing and prepared speech writing. I also teach oral presentation skills, analysis of Zulu literature and the history & understanding of Zulu idioms - which will make your writing sound native.
Physical Science
My enthusiastic approach to teaching Physics will make you feel like you were there when the apple hit Newton on the head! I help students understand all the formulae - which makes them easier to memorize - and know when to apply them correctly. As well as all the laws, principles & theorems.
