I cannot describe how much I love this subject. There is nothing quite like the awe that comes with seeing the living world in finer detail. As this is a content dense subject, I try to give students as many resources in their learning style as possible to consolidate the work.

English remains one of my passions, I did well at school, and I loved it at university level. As a student of literature and a foreign language teacher, I can help students at a personal level and support them to reach their intended level.

My experience has shown that texts prescribed for Afrikaans tend not to interest students. As a South African language, finding resources and ways to expose learners to the subject is easy and creates an immersive environment - ideal for second additional language learners.
