I am a newly graduated Physiotherapist currently doing my community service year.
I wouldn’t have chosen a career in health sciences if I didn’t want to help everyone I come into contact with.

Mathematics
I did core mathematics throughout school and managed to maintain an average of 74% and above
Life Sciences (Biology)
I studied Bsc biological sciences for one year before moving into physiotherapy - so I’ve done a lot of biology. I just love this subject! Its so fascinating, I loved it in school and I love it still everyday working as a physiotherapist. It all starts in the classroom.
Physical Science
I got a distinction in high school for physical sciences. This is a crucial subject for so many careers. Its really important to have a firm basis if you’re going to continue with it at university level like I did.
Afrikaans
I never understood the importance of being able to speak a second language until I began seeing patients that could only speak Afrikaans. Learning Afrikaans in school continues to improve my career.
English
Such an important subject for the rest of your life. You are going to need it for university, honours papers and job reports just to name a few. I particularly fell in love with English Literature.
Accounting
I've experienced the euphoria of balances that actually balance, hopefully, I can help you experience it too.
