I am a qualified teacher who has also studied Social Sciences at Tertiary level. I am extremely passionate about teaching History and hope to deepen learners understanding of it. I have taught the above subject as a student teacher and a tutor between 2016 and 2020.

About Candice

History is its own form of storytelling, both beautiful and tragic stories. Memorizing a lot of dates and information is scary for any learner, so I try and create a style of storytelling to help learners remember their coursework in an easy and fun way!

I have a bachelors degree from UGA in history, a MA in history from Georgia State University, and I am a PhD candidate in world history at Georgia State University. I have been a graduate assistant in school for the last three years primarily assisting students with writing and paper structure.

Hi! I'm Alexa, a recent graduate from Oberlin College with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Law & Society. I want to bring the same clarity and sense of awe my high school history teachers instilled in me to our tutoring sessions, so you're not only prepared but excited for class.

About Caitlin

My skills include a good grasp of historical concepts, text analysis, how to extract evidence from the sources, interpretation, and how to compare and contrast. I also did a 1-year course in AS Level History through Cambridge in my grade 11 year so I can provide lots of valuable essay writing tips.

These were among my strong subjects in high school, and I enjoyed learning them. I would be happy to assist students taking these subjects (up to Grade 9) by giving them consistent guidance with the work they cover in school and following a pace they are most comfortable with.
