I'm an experienced teacher with an extensive understanding of positive psychology and learning theory. I love learning, and I'm passionate about empowering students through fun and adaptable teaching.
Apart from my love of learning, one of my top strengths is perspective. I'm highly adept at seeing problems from the student's point of view and use that skill to help them get over learning hurdles in a way that feels natural and intuitive instead of forced. I'm also keenly aware that a positive student-teacher connection improves learning outcomes and work to maintain one at all times.

My Proudest
Achievements
• I achieved 8 distinctions in matric and broadened my knowledge through several programs. I completed a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training, becoming a registered yoga teacher. I also completed Yale University's Science of Well-being program, enhancing my understanding of wellness and positive psychology.

I understand that some students struggle to engage with Chemistry because they can't relate to it and find it boring. I encourage students to find applications of Chemistry in their everyday lives to make it fun to learn about.
AP Maths
There's a lot of content to cover in AP Maths and it often feels like there's not enough time. Apart from using my expertise to make learning easier, I also teach students techniques to improve results in tests and exams.
