In high school, my favorite subject has always been math, and I consistently did well (A's) in college-level courses. Whenever I help others with math, I try to help them understand its concepts, whether that means breaking math down into small components or helping people visualize it differently.

Hi! My name is Jamie and I'm a honors student at UCLA with a 4.0 GPA. In high school, I earned a 1550 on my SAT, maintained a 4.5 GPA, took 14 AP/honors courses, and tested for 6 SAT subject exams. I've been tutoring for over four years and have earned top grades in my geometry courses.

I have been a volunteer tutor for 3 1/2 years. I continue to work with students in grades 6-11. As a tutor, I emphasized the importance of good study habits and devised homework schedules to assist students. It is my objective to identify and remove obstacles keeping students from learning.
