History was one of my favorite subjects in high school, which led me to declare a History major in college. I performed well in AP US History so I made my concentration in US History. I have many years of writing history papers, compiling notes, and making connections through events in history.

I have been a volunteer tutor for 3 1/2 years. I continue to work with students in grades 6-11. As a tutor, I emphasized the importance of good study habits and devised homework schedules to assist students. It is my objective to Identify and remove obstacles keeping students from learning.

As a public policy major, AP US History was where I discovered that interest. My US History teacher was the best teacher I’ve ever had, and I’d be excited to relay some of the study/writing tools I learned to others!
