I am passionate about helping others to excel in intercultural communication in Xhosa .I am patient, friendly, supportive and full of encouragement in a such a way that I make it very easy for others to excel in developing their listening and speaking skills in Xhosa.

isiXhosa is my home language and I am therefore fluent in it! I was also in the debate team for my home language during my matric year. I know it very well and I did well in all 3 papers, 1 2, and 3.

As a native isiXhosa speaker, I teach with precision and cultural sensitivity, focusing on tonal nuances where pitch affects meaning, click sounds produced using non-pulmonic airstreams, and an agglutinative structure that modifies root words with prefixes and suffixes.

Xhosa is my home language. I am very friendly and I love teaching, especially teaching Xhosa, a language that is natural to me. When teaching, I embrace students with their differences. I am a hard worker and I always strive until I see progress in my students.

I started doing isiXhosa in Grade 7. I transitioned from Setswana. For a beginner, I did very well. In Grade 12 I passed with 85%. I volunteered in an orphanage in Grahamstown and most of the kids I taught obtained over 70%.

I possess a profound understanding and profound appreciation for Isixhosa (HL), which stems from my upbringing and immersive cultural experiences. Being raised in a household where Isixhosa was the predominant language nurtured a deep-seated connection to its intricacies.
