I have a Bsc degree in Microbiology and Plant Pathology (Tuks). This year I am doing my honours in Plant Pathology (Stellenbosch). I am approachable, friendly and always willing to help where I can.
I'm easy to talk to and will try to make the work as understandable as possible. I was a University mentor for 2 years. I will go out of my way to help with whatever topic I possible can. I know that being a university student isn't easy, and therefore I can relate to stress that university puts one through. Late night cramming isn't ideal, and therefore I'll help to avoid that as far as possible

Botany
First Year - Second Year BOT 365, BOT 161, BOT 251, BOT 356, BOT 358I can assist in nearly all botany related topics. I am particularly good in plant physiology, plant chemistry, phytomedicine and other botany topics. I have also done many lab hours and will be able to assist with lab techniques as well.
Microbiology
First Year - Second Year MLB 111, MBY 161, MBY 261, MBY 365, MBY 351I am skilled in microbial interactions, taxonomy, next generation sequencing technologies and virology particularly, but will be able to assist with other microbiology related topics. I have Microbiology degree and have done several hours in the lab, thus will be able to help with lab techniques.
Marcelle was extremely attentive to detail and focused during the lessons. She really went the extra mile in helping me during; as well as, after my lessons. Always available to help and very knowledgeable in the module. She is also very approachable, friendly and kind making it very comfortable asking questions during the lessons about concepts that I struggled with. Would definitely recommend her to anyone that needs help!
