I am a Doctoral research assistant in Physics at the university of the Western Cape. A part from my research, I am involved in the teaching at undergraduate level (mainly second year physics major).
I have a strong background in both Mathematics and Physics. I have a great passion for teaching, and my pleasant personality and my ability to interact with students make me an outstanding teacher/tutor, who has the student's best interest at heart. Throughout my postgraduate studies, I have been involved in tutoring and teaching for undergraduate student in maths.

Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSC, IEBI am a Doctoral research student in Physics at the university of the Western Cape. I have intensively trained and prepare high school students for maths and physics exams (mainly Grade 10, 11 and 12). Besides that, I have served as a volunteer for after school program at Oval North High School.
Jespere was amazing at identifying my daughters learning style and using this to implement different teaching techniques to maximise her ability to retain and retrieve relevant information. He has patience and has a wonderful ability to instill the confidence in his student to push themselves to grasp concepts and enjoy the subject they are studying. My daughters Maths and Physics improved in leaps and bounds. Jespere goes above and beyond will forever have our gratitude.

My daughter was nervous about having lessons with a new tutor so close to her exam. She had low confidence in her abilities with Physics and needed someone who is patient and non-judgemental. Jaspere was exactly that. Jamie said he helped her a great deal with the tricky concepts. He was so efficient prior to the lessons in terms of his contact with her and now seeing his feedback report it shows he takes his lessons and students success very seriously.

Jespere has been an excellent math tutor for me the last 3 months. He has the ability to broaden the scope of your work to include new horizons of learning and push you beyond a comfortable level so you may exceed your potential and grasp larger concepts. He has a great understanding that is well transferred although miscommunication can sometimes occur, but this is easily overlooked once a mutual understanding of the question can be reframed. He has been instrumental in my ability to come back to mathematics and prepare for university, and allowed me to run through both AS & A level syllabus in a matter of months. He is an excellent tutor, trust his lesson progression!
