Hello, my name is Riley Bleau, and I am in my junior year of college. I am a biology major, although I also love music. I am currently learning how to write and record songs on guitar and keyboard.
I really enjoy breaking down topics and seeing the "why" behind general ideas. My need to have an in depth understanding gives me a good foundation for explaining problems to others. I like to help people connect the dots on their own; I find metaphors are often useful for simplifying problems.
Education
• I attended University of San Diego for a year (2018-2019) as a biology major. I then transferred to San Diego Mesa College as a Sophomore. I am currently in my second semester at Mesa.

Achievements
• I am proud of my dedication to academics, and I have received mostly A's throughout high school and college. I am also very proud of my achievement in cross country running. I was one of the top runners on my team in high school, and my best 5K time is 17:08.

Math
I can tutor in any math subject up to Pre-Calculus. I scored a 710 on the math portion of the SATs, and my strongest areas are Algebra 1 and 2
Language Arts (English)
I have taken multiple college level reading/writing courses (including AP Literature in high school), and I have maintained a 4.0 average in all of these courses. I also scored a 760 on the reading portion of the SAT. I can assist in any task related to reading comprehension and essay writing.
Biology
I am currently majoring in biology. As a junior, I have taken multiple college level biology courses (including AP biology in high school). I can tutor for any high school level biology course. I can also help with college-level introductory biology courses.
Spanish
I took 4 years of Spanish in high school and maintained a 4.0 average for this subject. I can help with introductory Spanish courses at any grade level.
