History is interesting and important because it teaches us morality, how to learn from mistakes, helps us develop reading and writing skills, how to craft our own opinions, research skills, and how to analyse situations and sources. I have always enjoyed learning from the school’s history syllabus.

History was my favourite subject in high school, and I achieved a distinction for it in matric. I am still interested in it, and I studied Histography at a postgraduate level. I would love the opportunity to help students find their voice within this subject and master it!
