I am a 27 year old living in Cape Town, South Africa. In my free time, I like to go hiking, read books, and explore the City.
During my time as an undergraduate, the best tutors I had were those that had a genuine interest in the work they were discussing with their students. As a tutor, this is what I hope to emulate when helping others; I also enjoy learning and discussing the ideas that students may have. Moreover, I also aim to impart some values to the students I tutor, such as intellectual rigour and honesty.

• I have tutored three courses in total - two in 2017, and one in 2019.
My Proudest
Achievements
• I have two achievements that I am particularly proud of. The first of these achievements came in 2012, when I recorded the highest mark for IGCSE History in South Africa.

• The second achievement, in 2016, was being awarded a class medal (highest mark) for Foreign Policy Analysis, a module at UCT.

International Relations
Experience: I have one-and-a-half years experience in tutoring undergraduate students studying history and/or international relations. Skills: The skills that I have managed to develop through undergraduate and Honours include research skills, essay writing skills, and editing skills.
History
History has been the subject that I have been passionate about the longest. This, I think, is conducive to having useful tutorial lessons. In addition, I will mostly assist with how one answers an essay question and ways one can synthesise information needed for tests, essays, and exams.
Politics
Since I entered university, politics continues to be a subject of fascination with me. I take great pleasure in discussing politics at length; these sorts of conversations can be of great benefit for students as well.
