I am an Electrical and Electronics Engineer who is passionate about education. I am an aspiring African leader, a Mandela Rhodes scholar, and an excellent student.
I love teaching others. I believe that education can change lives because it has changed mine. I am very attentive to what others say, and I always try to understand their point of view. I have also been giving after-hours lessons to classmates throughout my studies.
• 2010 - 2014: MTech Electrical Engineering (TUT)
• 2015: M.Sc(Eng) Electrical and Electronics Systems Engineering (ESIEE-Paris)
• 2016: PhD Electrical Engineering (Wits University)
• Currently: Engineer
• Mandela Rhodes Scholarship award
• Eskom top achiever in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Nationwide
• All my four graduations (Bachelor, Honours, the 2 Master's degrees) CUM LAUDE
Mathematics
I have a passion for Mathematics, and I desire to share that passion with learners. I am proud of the work I have done so far as a part-time tutor and a University student, and I look forward to many more opportunities to gain experience and help others with my skillset.
Electronics
During my tertiary studies, I was exposed to various electronic subjects, and thus, I have a strong understanding of the fundamental concepts. I can break these down, so they are easily understood and remembered.
Electrical Studies
I completed my Master's degree last year, and now I am an Electrical and Electronics Engineer. Through my studies, I have expanded my knowledge of electrical systems and believe I have the skills to help learners succeed in electrical studies.
French
French is my home language. I wrote the DELF exam last year and passed it with a distinction. I love helping students navigate their way through this language and learn new skills. I would love to assist anyone looking to master French.
Computer Programming
I have experience with the following: C, C++, Embedded C, VHDL, Java, Python, PHP, and C#. I have also worked as a Software Engineer. I am passionate about programming and would love to help other students develop their programming skillset.
Engineering
I studied Engineering at university, and now I am an Electrical and Electronic Engineer! I have a reputation for using a calm, hands-on approach to deliver support to students as they develop their engineering skills.
Programming
I have done four modules of Signal Processing; two of them were during my final year using Matlab (continuous and discrete), and the other two were during my MSc (Advanced Stochastic Signal Theory and Real-Time Digital Signal Processing). I would love to help learners achieve their goals!
Signals & Systems
I enjoy Signals and Systems in general, but even more than that, I enjoy teaching them. I would love to assist students in understanding the theory and improve their application of the concepts.
Physical Science
Before studying Engineering, I got a certificate in Physics and Mathematics. I have a vast knowledge of Physical Science and have learned methods that will help simplify the subject and set up students to win!
French
French is my home language. I wrote the DELF exam last year and passed it with a distinction. I love helping students navigate this language and learn new skills. I would love to assist anyone looking to master French.
Physics
I have always felt intrigued by Physics. Physics is challenging, but I've found that breaking concepts up into manageable sections and consistent practice can be aced and even mastered! I have methods that help make the work interesting, understandable and enjoyable.
Computer Studies (ICT)
I feel confident and excited to teach Computer Studies. Computer Studies create a foundation for the modules to come in higher grades, and I would like to help students master the concepts to succeed in the future.
