I am a proud Texas State University graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a minor in psychology. Teaching is my passion, and I look forward to working with you!
As a student teacher, I spent my last semester at university gradually assuming all responsibilities of a third-grade teacher. I planned and implemented both in-person and virtual lessons and led small-group activities as well. Additionally, I have privately tutored elementary and middle-school students in math, reading, science, English, and social studies.

• One of my greatest achievements is graduating from Texas State University with the highest distinction, summa cum laude. I am a certified ESL teacher in the state of Texas and a proud military spouse.

Math has always been a favorite subject of mine, and I'd love to help it become one of yours, too! From elementary students to middle-school aged kids, I've helped many master their math skills and build confidence in the classroom. I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals!
Reading
I truly believe that reading is one of the greatest joys in life, and I love helping others build confidence in their own literacy skills. From teaching lessons in the classroom, to leading guided-reading groups, I have plenty of experience in the field.
Language Arts (English)
Language Arts teaches us so many skills that are vital to academic success. From grammar to composition, understanding the intricacies of the English language helps students throughout their school years and beyond. I would love to help you achieve your literacy goals!
Biology
Science is an exciting subject to explore, and biology in particular teaches us so much about ourselves and the world around us. Building an understanding of how living things exist and interact is foundational for future success in science. I look forward to working with you!
Phonics
Literacy is truly the backbone to academic success. Through phonics study, students learn the relationship between letters and sounds and become stronger readers/writers in the process! I would love to explore phonics with you and help you meet your goals.
