My name is Jayati Mondal and I am a Freshman on the Pre-med track at Hunter College's Yalow Honors Program. I have experience tutoring students and I am highly responsible, organized, and driven.
I watched my dad practice medicine and help impoverished people selflessly, which influenced me. I enjoy being a part of a change that positively affects someone's life. I have experience being a part of different volunteering organizations. During high school, I tutored students at various libraries and I was a part of the Red Cross and Key Club. Now, I volunteer for the New York Blood Center.

My Proudest
Achievements
• My proudest achievement was graduating with a 4.0 GPA from Stuyvesant High School, a competitive and specialized high school in NYC.
• I am also proud that I was a part of the Write Now! Program, where I wrote two plays and directed another one. This pushed me to explore my interest in English.

I am a Freshman in the Yalow Honors Program for Pre-health students at CUNY Hunter College. I have taken Geometry, Algebra 1 and 2, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, and AP Calculus AB in High school. I took Calculus 1 last semester as a Freshman in college, and I received an A+.
Language Arts (English)
I am a Freshman in the Yalow Honors Program for pre-health students at CUNY Hunter College. I have taken advanced classes, like AP English, Asian American Studies, American Literature, and European Literature. I earned a 4.0 GPA in English and a 99 on the English Regents.
Biology
I am a Freshman in the Yalow Honors Program for Pre-health students at CUNY Hunter College. I have taken regular Biology, AP Biology, Neuroscience, Forensic Science, and AP Psychology with a focus on biology in high school. I graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA in science.
Chemistry
I have taken Honors Chemistry when I was a sophomore in high school. I have also taken college-level Chemistry 1 this past semester and I will be taking College Chemistry 2 this upcoming semester. Last semester I received a 4.0 in Chemistry 1.
Spanish
I am a Freshman in the Yalow Honors Program for Pre-health students at CUNY Hunter College. I started learning Spanish when I was in sixth grade and I have taken Spanish classes for six years. I took the Spanish Proficiency exam as a junior in high school and I received a 100 on it.
