I am an enthusiastic educator with a passion for enabling others to better improve their English listening, speaking, writing and reading. I am also a follower of Christ who loves the outdoors.
I have a history of volunteer work, and alongside my current high school English teaching, I also run our school's cross country programme. I enjoy motivating others and helping them to reach further than they would have ever thought possible.

- 2011-2013 BA at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, 2014 UCT Hons, 2015-2016 Teaching in KwaZulu-Natal, 2016-2017 Master's Degree at Binghamton Univeristy, 2018 - Present English Teaching (high-school).
My proudest achievements
- I was awarded both the Mandela Rhodes Scholarship (here in SA) and the Fulbright Scholarship (to study in the US). I have also received departmental prizes for English at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

First Year - PostgradI received a Fulbright Scholarship to do Creative Writing in the United States of America and there did a master's degree in English with a focus on creative writing. I did many workshops there to hone my skills as a writer.

First Year - PostgradI received an honours degree from UCT passed in the first class (above 75%) in English literature. I can assist mostly in helping to edit a thesis.

Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEBI can offer input with time management regarding pacing yourself through LO projects and assignments. I have experience teaching matric and have been in the local IEB cluster group.
