I am passionate about teaching in a manner that will help the students understand the subject. Not everyone is the same so flexibility is key!
I am a great listener and am able to adapt to the clients' needs in terms of learning. Compromise is also necessary as learning is a two-way street.

Language Arts (English)
I've helped numerous students with their SAT Reading and have received a perfect score on my English Regents exam. I've also received a 4 on both of my AP English exams.
Spanish
I did well on the Spanish regents and well in my classes to be able to teach beginning and beginner intermediate Spanish.
SAT
I have taught the SAT for about 11 years and have experience teaching all subjects, which are present in the old SAT and the new SAT.
SHSAT
While I got into Stuyvesant High School, I have also helped other NYC students get into the specialized high schools by tutoring them both in English and Math. I have taught SHSAT for 10 years and am familiar with the changes that were instituted a few years ago.
GRE
I have tutored my peers and have helped them get the scores they wanted. I am familiar with the test format and can tutor in both the verbal and quantitative sections.
