When it comes to academics, I always strive to put in the time and effort to showcase my academic abilities. I am eager to help students feel more confident in the subjects that they struggle with.
I am very patient when it comes to teaching others and making sure students fully understand a concept. Also, I love encouraging others to work harder in order to reach their goals. I've had previous experience working with children in a classroom setting. From this, I learned how to keep children engaged since they tended to not be interested or lose focus.

Subjects

Biology
I have taken Biology and AP Biology in high school as well as Biology I in my first semester of college. I have received an A in all of these. Biology is one of my favorite subjects, so I have a lot of knowledge about this subject. I can especially help with the cell cycle and genetics.
Algebra
I have taken Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, and Algebra II in middle school and high school. I have received A's in all three. I am especially good at problem solving, solving equations, and inequalities.
Phonics
Previously, I have worked with first graders with writing, math, reading, and phonics for a semester. As for myself, I perform well in my reading and writing classes.
Reading
Previously, I have worked with first graders with writing, math, reading, and phonics for a semester. I would help the students read stories and pull out key details. As for myself, I have taken various literature classes including AP Literature.
Writing
Previously, I have worked with first graders with writing, math, reading, and phonics for a semester. For writing, I have specifically helped students with grammar and spelling. As for myself, I have taken various literature classes as well as a writing seminar this previous semester of college.
