I am a degreed education specialist and help students achieve their goals for learning. I'm an artist/ education specialist who loves making learning fun and have over 25 years of teaching experience!
I develop a good relationship with parents and students. I develop a strong network of support for the students. I want them to feel I am approachable and always willing to listen. I will find resources if needed to increase learning. I am a strong advocate for the students. I want to see them progress, have good self-efficacy in their abilities and overcome challenges.

- School Tutoring
Language Arts (English)
I tutor one on one both online and face to face. I tutor both English as a second language and language skills. I have received positive parent feedback as I work closely with parents/guardians to achieve positive learning results, and increase goal proficiency in students with learning challenges.
Reading
I assign authors to research and read short stories as well as age appropriate books. I make reading fun. Assign essays and written summaries to ensure students comprehend reading.
Writing
I am a college level teacher, comfortable in the online and classroom environments. I have a journalism, English and language skills background. I am an artist, writer and seasoned faculty. I tutor K-12 special needs students, with results increasing proficiency in all aspects of language arts.
Phonics
I am a teacher/ tutor for K-5th grade in phonetics and comprehension. I work with young students to build early phonetic skills and word building. Especially students who have fallen behind or are diagnosed with learning disabilities such as ADHD, high functioning autism, and dyslexia.
