Bio
I'm an incoming student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign majoring in bioengineering. Not only do I love STEM and learning, I also love imparting my love of math and science in others!
I am multilingual, multicultural, and am always delighted to listen to others. When I talk to my clients, I always make sure they feel that we are engaging in a conversation and that I care about their learning and their wellbeing. At the end of the day, I love to see them get excited about their results and become motivated to achieve a greater understanding of the subject they once struggled in.

Achievements
• Interning for Argonne National Laboratory and working on two research projects with actual scientists.
• Leading a squad of 8 or 9 freshmen girls in their PE class, giving them the confidence to try new things.
• Tutoring my favorite student, who pushed her grade from a mid B to an A in just one month.

Math
I received straight A's in math courses all the way from first grade to twelth and I received university credit for Calculus III, as well as a 5 on the Calc BC AP exam. I'm confident in my math skills and I love teaching others how to understand and appreciate math, not just plug in formulas!
AP Chemistry
I was an engaged and stellar student in AP Chemistry and received a 5 on the AP exam. I have experience with both honors and AP and tutoring peers as well as underclassmen. Not only do I love chemistry, I also promote understanding of its abstract concepts at a fundamental level.
Chemistry
I have offered one-on-one tutoring to an honors chemistry student in the last month of the second semester with a grade percentage improvement of 5% from B to A. I have AP Chemistry experience as well that I can apply to my teaching.
PSAT
I was a National Merit Finalist for the PSAT with a score of 1490/1520. I have a good grasp on how to take the reading section efficiently and how to comprehend the math section quickly and learn the skills needed to get all the questions right, every time.
SAT
Received 1580 and 1570/1600 on two SAT attempts total, 780 reading and 800 math. I have the knowhow to teach how to take the reading section with efficiency and effectiveness, and the math skills and shortcuts to getting a full 800 on the math section every time.
