I am a third year college student at Loyola Marymount University. I love working with students to help them have that "aha!" moment that is rewarding for the both of us.
I am a friendly and approachable person. I have been a summer camp counselor for five years where I have developed my ability to understand what a child need, whether they can put it in words or not.

My proudest achievements
- The first moment that comes to mind was in my last year of high school when I broke 5 minutes in the mile. I had worked at this for four years, finally reaping the rewards after all my dedication.
- Another proud moment for me was teaching my parents to surf. It took a lot of work, but we loved it.

1st Grade - 10th GradeI have been a math tutor for four years. I started when my peers came to me for help and complimented my ability to explain math concepts. Since then, I have tutored 1-10 graders to boost their abilities and confidence.
Language Arts (English)
1st Grade - 12th GradeI have tutored students with a wide variety of ages and abilities over the past two years to improve their writing and English skills. I work closely with my students to correct grammatical issues and develop their work as a whole.
Spanish
1st Grade - 12th Grade Spanish 1, Spanish 2I took four years of Spanish in high school and have been taking more upper division Spanish courses during the past two years of college. I also studied abroad in Mexico in the Fall of 2019 where I truly honed my Spanish fluency.
